This is a Thomasville brand, VERY nice, solid wood dresser.  I've actually been looking for one of these for myself, bought it for myself, then realized it's too big for my tiny house :-(  It's a really big bummer cause I've been looking for forever!!  It will make (someone else :-(  ) an awesome entry piece.

Vintage Jewely Box

I've seen a few of these fun old jewelry boxes online, but I've never come accross one until today. I have been so excited ha ha, everyone's tired of me talking and telling them about it. I'm pretty sure this goes along with the "french provincial" style furniture.   Well, today just happens to be my daughter Emma's 12th birthday (no my name is not Emma :-)  so this now belongs to her.

What a fun antique occasional table.... Ton's of character, elegant, antique, awesome wooden wheels, great legs, fantastic color...incrediable name :-)

When I got this piece, it was all red with a huge white flower painted on top.  My kids said to make sure I preserved the flower...not!  I grabbed a pic of the red after I was about done ha ha, but I just wanted to show you how sometimes when a piece has already been painted I kinda just go with it.  The red showing through the blue is quite cool.  It does have a couple of cracks on the top, which you can see in the before picture.  Embrace the crack!  It just adds character!!!

Babies are so special.  (I have six myself)  My friend just had her 5th, at home, no drugs, and in a pool.  Way to go Trish!!  All mine were c-section so I have no clue what it must have been like.  Anyway, I've been feeling guilty not getting any furniture done the last few weeks so I'm going to post the crate I made her to hold diapers...so there's something new to look at :-)...plus it's really cute

Hope everyone has had an awesome spring break!  It's harder for me to get outside and work when all the kids are home so I haven't gotten to any furniture for a couple of weeks.  Just so you all know...I'm still here :-)

 I love pinterest for holiday craft ideas.  I found an awesome easy center piece I just had to do. (The carrots in the vase)  These 2 things are the extent of my Easter decorations ha ha.  The jars with the lambs was an idea from a magazine, I forget which one though, I put them on velcro and have different ornaments for each holiday.  Notice they are empty...I've filled them twice in 2 days...the kids are enjoying it way to much.

I've just finished these awesome green doors with hooks for my bathroom, so sorry, they are not for sale :-)  The color is awesome!  I can't wait to hang them up. 

Old Curio---sold

This is a very old cabinet.  I tried hard to make it shiny and elegant but it just wasn't working.  So sometimes you just have to go with the character of the piece, so that's what I did.  Now it is AWESOME!!  It's still elegant but in a different way :-)  I made it "chippy" which is basically scraping off the paint instead of sanding which gives it an older look.

Blue/grey dresser~~~sold

As you can see this dresser is very ornate.  I love all the detail... perfect for a fancy entry.  It's a grey/blue color...very elegant.

Cream Dresser~~~no longer available

Great dresser chest, so versitile...perfect for a smaller entry.  It's not real wide so great for those hard to fill spaces.  I think it'd be awesome in a boy's room too.

Secretary~~~sold

Check out the curves on this baby!!!  She's beautiful! :-) I added a little "crackle paint" here and there and the effect is fabulous! Solid wood of course, people always ask me if it's solid wood.  If it's not wood, it's not worth my time....

Extra Large Entry Dresser~~~sold

I've been so excited to get this dresser posted but the weather was bad and I didn't want it outside, and then my "crew" has been too busy to help me move it.  Sooo, I finally pushed it to this spot by myself and hoped for the best.  I could barely squeeze it in my frame it's so big.  I hope I can get some better pix cause this is really a beautiful dresser.  It's a great size too, different, taller than a traditional long dresser.  Aren't the  legs  fantastic!?  The top is stained dark, and then I added a black glaze to it...I love how it turned out.
  

Tall Lamp---no longer available

Ok, it's official.  I'm the crazy lamp lady :-)   This one is old and beautiful.  Solid brass too.  (I think).  It's solid something if it's not brass, my daughter Emma couldn't lift it.  It's very tall, I put a 2L. bottle of soda next to it so you could see how huge it is.    The "key" looks like it should be the switch but it's not, it's just for looks.  Oh, and there's a piece of marble in it.  I was excited because this one is different than the one's I've done before.  It turned out very gorgeously elegant.  I had to picture every awesome feature ha ha....
