If you've followed my blog at all you'll remember last year I got the best mothers day, birthday, christmas present...the awesome vw bug on the right side of the blog. It wasen't exactly street worthy at the time and so it has sat...and sat...for about a year and a half. Well, Trent,(hubs) decided he was getting it running for Christmas this year, only he's not much of a mechanic. Fortunately we have a great neighbor who is. It's not licensed yet, still needs lights and things but I was able to drive it around the block on Christmas day!! Anyway I'm getting to the dresser. Our neighbor won't take money, he just likes to help, so we are always on the lookout for something to do for him. He needed a load of trash taken to the dump so of course we volunteered. This sad little piece was loaded on the trash trailor. Poor thing. I had to ask if I could keep it. I think it was a taller dresser that had been cut in half or something. I'm still not sure. This is the kind of fixing I love!! Trent helped put on some legs and trim up the bottom. It's got some fun cracks in it giving it lot's of character. Definately one of a kind! And the moral of this story??? ... Don't wear flip flops to the dump!!!

Doll Cradle
Just in time for Christmas! What little girl wouldn't want their new baby doll in something so cute. It's very sturdy too for those little crawlers who think they need be inside with the little dolly :-) (Refinished cradle but all new material)
